01 · The problem

Your dash didn't fail. The plastic did.

Freightliner dashes are injection-molded plastic. Ten years of sun through the windshield and that plastic goes brittle. It splits at the defroster vents, then along the gauge cluster, then it starts coming apart every time you hit a seam in the road.

A dealer will sell you the same plastic part again. It will crack again.

Why fiberglass

It flexes
Hand-laid fiberglass absorbs road vibration instead of fracturing along it.
It holds shape
No warping at the windshield line, no shrinking away from the vents.
It's patented
Our own mold, our own shop. Not a copy of the plastic part that failed.
04 · Install

Bolts into the original mounts

  1. Disconnect the batteries and pull the gauge cluster.
  2. Unbolt the cracked dash at the factory points.
  3. Set the fiberglass dash on the same points and bolt it down.
  4. Move your gauges, switches and vents across.
  5. Reconnect and go to work.

No cutting. No drilling. No filler. Two people, one afternoon, hand tools.
